Voices of our Robins
Mónica (Tenerife)
Mónica (Tenerife) European Law, Maastricht.
Studying and living in Maastricht has undoubtedly been one of the most enriching experiences of my life. The city is full of fascinating places and incredible people, offering a mix of cultural and academic opportunities. Personally, I'm studying European Law, a highly stimulating programme that offers a comparative perspective on legal systems and on how the European law system works. Although the coursework can be demanding, with dedication you get through it. I absolutely love everything about Maastricht: the people, the atmosphere and the city itself.
Lucía (Sevilla)
Lucía (Seville) International Business Maastricht
What impressed me most when I came to study in Maastricht was how here they push you to be independent and to overcome your limits. The international diversity enriches you, and being surrounded by people like that challenges and motivates you constantly. My mentor said that studying abroad is like doing a double degree, and now I see that it is. It struck me to realise that, many times, I felt like the “dumbest” one in the class, but that made me understand that only that way, in any situation, do you find the greatest potential for growth. Also, seeing how fast you progress is incredible, both personally and professionally.
Duco (Madrid)
Duco (Madrid) Economics and Business Economics, Groningen.
My job alongside my university studies has been extremely rewarding. Applying theory in the field of business economics makes me feel much more comfortable in new courses. As long as you plan your time well for studying and for your different commitments, the workload is much lighter than you expect!
Candela (Madrid)
Candela (Madrid) Economics and Business Economics, Maastricht.
Studying in the Netherlands is turning out to be one of the experiences of my life. The Netherlands is like an amusement park for students. It's true that the university is demanding, but all the time you don't spend studying is yours. Living in a residence surrounded by your friends and the student atmosphere is something I recommend to everyone. Thank you, Project Robin, for bringing me here!
