Accommodation
Finding a home in Utrecht
Utrecht has high demand and long waiting lists for residences. As the train to Amsterdam and other cities is quick, some students search in nearby towns. If you go to UCU, on-campus accommodation is part of the programme.
Sign up with SSH, the city's main student housing organisation, as soon as you're admitted.
Also look at ROOM.nl and Kamernet, and tell people you know: many rooms get passed from student to student.
Never pay a deposit without a signed contract or without checking who the owner is.
